If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Scotland. Edinburgh in particular seems lovely.
Otherwise, I’d love to go back to York, if it ever becomes affordable again.
Describe a family member.
Beautiful, curly thick salt and pepper hair. A little thick around the middle, but fit from her job, which is physically demanding. Olive skin that means she stans out from the rest of us, who could easily be mistaken for ghosts, so pale are we. A warm and loving personality, if not rather fearful of abandonment, a paranoia we share. A survivor of trauma I couldn’t imagine. It took me a long time to truly understand her, and I am sorry for all the years lost to those misunderstandings.
How much would you pay to go to the moon?
I’m not sure I could put a value on that. Getting to the moon was and is an incredible achievement, and being able to observe our planet from the moon must be an amazing experience.
But it isn’t an experience I’ve any personal interest in. I’m more invested in events closer to home that effect me and those I love. Again, this is not to dismiss what must be an amazing thing to do, but I’m more concerned with the state of planet earth at the moment.
